Tres Rios Nature Fest

Last weekend was the Tres Rios Nature Festival, held this year at the Estrella Mountain Regional Park. We enjoyed the wild birds, skunk, reptiles, and the turtle who insisted on climbing the side of his box and falling backwards onto his back.

Spring Green

The Sonoran desert will soon be blooming, so we drive around in it each week to check on the progress. We've had quite a bit of rain this winter and the mountains are covered in green vegetation.
