Frankenmuth MI
We thoroughly enjoyed Germany, so when I learned about Frankenmuth, it sounded like a great place to see. Lunching on traditional German fare brought back such tasty memories. Frankenmuth is home to Bronner's CHRISTmas Store...one of the largest in the country and it is truly spectacular! It is really a good thing that we live in an RV and it is July not close to Christmas, or I'd have bought a ton of gifts!

Still in Detroit
Jane, Ann, Bob, and Jennifer joined us for dinner at the RV last night. The weather cooperated, so we ate John's delicious grilled chicken and veggies al fresco.
Ann is a talented artist, whose work is displayed at juried shows and museums around the country. We had the treat of seeing some beautiful pieces of hers when she hosted us at dinner last week.
Jennifer is a very creative science teacher in a local middle school. She is a natural and her students are lucky to have such a stimulating experience.
Tomorrow we head to the Upper Penninsula of Michigan while we await the results of the latest round of medical tests on John.
