Today was one of the most beautiful warm, clear, sunny days since we arrived on the Gulf Coast. We spent several hours on the beach, John rode his new bike, we picked up starfish and pretty shells, took pictures and made new friends.
The park host eventually rode his bike to find us to let us know that the Prius's horn had been going off for over 2 hours. By the time we returned to the campsite, the battery was dead so we had it towed into Corpus Christi for a new one.
We are excited about the historic Obama inauguration tomorrow and will get together with other supporters to celebrate a change in the future of the country.
