Texas Courthouses

We drove up to Victoria and Goliad to see their historic architecture and discovered two of the impressive Texas Courthouses that decorate county seats across the state.

Many historic homes became models for digital pictures. We wondered why one had bells strung upside down from the roofline to the ground...any ideas?
