After leaving Detroit, our general heading was toward McGregor, MN, with the stop at DRV Suites for warranty work.
We camped in Joliet, IL, and drove into Chicago to see the Frank Lloyd Wright inspired architecture, in Oak Park, and the Museum of Art, both were terrific. We also attempted to see President Obama's Chicago home but found the street barricaded and police protected.
