Ray Mine

Our host, John Thomas, recently retired from the Ray Mine, near Superior, AZ. Many of my ancestors were miners, and I have always been interested in how things are made, so I asked John for a tour. We had a great time seeing how copper is mined and marveling at the massive equipment utilized in such an undertaking.
