Oregon

Oregon is our home for as long as we can deal with the weather. We found a terrific campground near Silverton that allows us to stay at the Passport America rate indefinitely, so will be here for a month while I try to see a GI doc.

As many of you know, we own a small lot near the coast and drove out to check it on it. As we were tramping around through the trees and dense underbrush on the lot, our neighbors came over to insist, yet again, that we cut down trees on our lot. This time they don't like the yellow pollen that blows on to their driveway from our three small coastal pines. Previously they wanted us to top several trees because they sway in the winter storm winds.

Gleneden Beach has a great beach access park, where we enjoyed the sunshine, roaring surf, and friendly visitors as we ate our picnic lunch.
