Jonesborough TN

We are making our way towards DC and stopped near Bristol, TN for two nights. Today we enjoyed the sunny autumn day touring historic Jonesborough, the oldest town in TN. Three blocks of Main Street encompass many original buildings which now house B&B's, art galleries and antique shops, three churches and the courthouse. Jonesborough is the seat of Washington County, the first county to be named after George Washington. The fall colors are bright and beautiful here.
