The bad portion of Judy's bowel has been successfully removed and she is now home from the hospital, eating a no-fiber diet until the follow up doctor appointment in 10 days. Walking has become a necessity, after each meal, to keep things flowing so nothing builds up and causes excruciating pain. The physical therapy folks were concerned about how the greater amount of walking would affect her lose knee implant, so they gave her a walker to use.
Somewhere down the line, we will attempt to find another orthopedic surgeon to correct the knee problems again.
