Lake Lavon

We are at East Fork Park on Lake Lavon, in a site beside the lake, with a beautiful tree, that unfortunately stands between us and satellite tv. The wind has been a constant friend in this location but so has the sun.

The sun oven has come in handy several days to cook beans, chili, potatoes, rice, and chicken. John rigs up water filled milk jugs as ballast against the wind.

Bluebonnets are sunning themselves around the park, as are many types of showy wildflowers.

One evening we shared dinner and campfire with Grandson Hunter and his parents.
