President Jimmy Carter's Hometown

I've always been a fan of President Jimmy Carter's environmental ideas...and here we are, looking at them again, many years later. If we had continued with the research on alternative energy, recycling, reuse, and conservation he introduced, maybe we'd not be in such a dire environmental situation.

And despite what my brother thinks, it IS more environmentally responsible to drive a 50 mpg Prius than a 12 mpg diesel dually truck as we travel the hills and valleys of our beautiful country
